Takeshi YAMAMURA

Born in 1984 in Yamagata, Japan. Received M.Arch (2009) and PhD. (2012) from Waseda University dept. of Architecture, Tokyo.

After  working for Dominique Perrault Architecture in Paris, he returns to Tokyo in 2015 to teach architectural design at Waseda University. In parallel to his academic activities, he collaborates as editorial advisor in architecture publications specializing in architecture theory.  In 2016 establishes YSLA  Architects, actively involved in a variety of architectural projects spanning different scales and typologies. In 2020, he moved to Tokyo Polytechnic University as associated professor. In 2021, he established Gaudiology in order to make a platform of Gaudi Research.
